A Message From Geary
This Saturday we will be going to Winchester to cast our votes for the future leadership of our party. The events in our country over the last few months have brought to the forefront how important it is that we be prepared in November as we battle for the future of our country. The Left’s attack on our values, our freedoms, and our very laws have reached a new and dizzying level of intensity. Their call is not for order and preservation of our Constitution- the very thing that assures freedom for all- but rather they aim to dismantle and destroy the principles and institutions our country was built upon.
In our state, the Governor and the General Assembly have pushed through troubling initiatives to raise taxes, remove protections for the unborn, our right to self-defense in addition to attacking our religious liberties, our history, and traditional family values. We must reverse this attack on our values and principles and we must solidify and grow our conservative base to win back Virginia.
Like many of my fellow Republicans, I have stood side-by-side with you over the years knocking doors, volunteering and raising money for our candidates and party. I have been a local party official and have been honored to serve on and bring conservative principles to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors for eight years and prior to that the Loudoun County School Board for four years. I have won four primaries and three general elections and I look forward to bringing my experience and conservative principles to the work of the 10th District Committee.
My tier-one race for VA Senate last fall was an amazing experience. I was able to raise an incredible amount of funding to try to hold on to Dick Black’s Senate seat. We stood in the breach in an important election year and fought the good fight. I know what was needed to win. I have developed contacts in Richmond, but I also know the local grassroots situation, as well. We need to bring the immigrant and ethnic communities into the party and engage with them. The ethnic communities are not inherently liberal. We also need to increase outreach to the faith community and get them more involved. Frankly, too many people of faith have been sitting on the sidelines, because they don’t realize what’s at stake.
I was honored to have President Trump’s endorsement for my VA State Senate bid last fall to succeed Senator Dick Black along with many other conservative leaders like the great Mark Levin and Ken Cuccinelli.
The 10th District must do more for our candidates and our units, and we need to do some things differently, if we are going to win. I bring extensive experience to the table.
My vision for the 10th District is not theory or a personal agenda, it is a result of first hand experience in the trenches as a party leader, a candidate and an elected public servant
Vision for the 10th District
Full support and resources for the President and our other Republican Candidates
Reverse the decline and win back Republican seats in Virginian’s 10th
Establish year-round fundraising efforts
Establish year-round grassroots outreach and coordination efforts for 10th District Units
Establish registration, turnout & absentee ballot initiatives
Having been a candidate, I understand the importance of having the grassroots support of your unit chairs and committees and believe it is critical to support our unit chairs and committees financially and on grassroots initiatives. The 10th District is only as strong as our local committees. My plan is to support our units through resources, training, coordination, and ongoing fundraising efforts. We need to avoid reinventing the wheel every year with each new election. It’s time to have sustained programs in place that focus on grassroots, outreach, turnout, absentee and registration.
Should I be elected as the 10th district Chairman, it would be my honor to implement my vision and deliver the 10th Congressional District for President Trump and all of our Republican candidates in November. Together we can preserve the great nation we love.
